  1. I'm glad you said other than the Bible because you'd get 100 answers of the same thing. Believe me, it's the WINNER, most definitely, but then someone will put that who really doesn't mean it just to not look like a heathen. LOL I'd have to say, believe it or not, A Woman of Substance inspired me most. It's been a while since I've read it but she came from nothing and I remember thinking I could conquer anything after reading that - even though it was fiction. Fun post! ~ Beth Russo

  2. i'd have to say Flashbacks surviving the flood. It opened my eyes on how to deal with my PTSD. by Leslie Raddatz.

  3. I think I'd have to say The Shack. Although it is fiction, I felt swept into the book, and my emotions and impressions throughout the book regarding the Trinity were so clear and intense. I learned a lot about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit through their representations in The Shack.

  4. Gone With The Wind Has Always stuck with me. I have read that book several times. I also was very impressed with Emma in A Woman of Substance. (I think I have her name right!) I like how both Scarlet and Emma have strong wills to cope and survive!

  5. LOL....very smart to put "besides the bible"....lol. I would have to say I'm partial to anything written by Beth Moore or by Joyce Meyer--don't know that I can pick just one! I learn so much from both authors bible based teachings. Battlefield of the Mind in particular from Joyce, if I had to pick just one!
