Katie's Choice By Amy Lillard GIVEAWAY!

Katie Rose Fisher loved Samuel Beachy with an intensity that shook their Amish district. No one doubted they would one day marry, until Samuel turned his back on the church and joined the world of the English.

Alone now in Clover Ridge, Katie Rose dedicates her life to God and the school children she teaches each day. Although she secretly longs for more, Katie knows God’s hand is at work, and she is happy.
News correspondent Zane Carson never even knew Oklahoma had an Amish community until he got the chance to live among them and learn about their day-to-day activities. Their simple way of life is intriguing, but not half as much as the young teacher.
Katie Rose is flattered over the attention she receives from Zane, but she has resolved to never marry. Even if she were to entertain the idea, it surely couldn’t be with an outsider like Zane.
Never one prone to the restraints of organized religion, Zane finds a comfort in the rituals and blessings in the day to day righteous living of this small Amish community. He finds himself, God, and love with Katie Rose.
But as Zane draws closer to Katie Rose, Samuel comes back to repent his ways and return to his place at her side. Can Zane convince Katie Rose that he is committed to adapting to her way of life, or will Samuel win her affec- tions back for himself once again?

June and her husband, Jim, divide their time between Pennsylvania and Titusville, Florida. “Winters are dreary in the north. We thrive on the wonderful sunshiny days Florida has to offer.

The absolutely exquisite  cover models on the cover  of both Amish books are Junes granddaughters. I love it when an author can incorporate her family on the cover of her work.
This is not an Amish author to miss. June really can write a great Amish story, and I must say it is not like most of the other Amish writers books with the same ole story line.
I really enjoyed The Zook Sisters of Lancaster County Series these two books were very hard to put down. High praise for a new Amish author I know but wait until you all read these two books, you will fall in love with Emma and Ruth for sure.
I am so ready for June's next Amish book!
I hate to give up my copies of these two books, but I want to share them with another Amish book lover.
I am giving away both books to two very lucky winners to enjoy. Just leave a comment and come back on Tuesday and see who the lucky winners were!

Payne & Misery By Catherine Leggitt GIVEAWAY!

All that sparks is not gold for Christine Sterling. The luster of her shiny "Golden Years" dream fades when Christines newly retired husband, Jesse, succumbs to an exciting new hobby requiring long weekends away. Add to this dilemma Christines dubious "gift" of observation, a super-sized helping of free time, and a double dose of imagination. Sprinkle with peculiar circumstances lurking in the neighborhood and what do you get? Not the glittering paradise of togetherness Jesse promised. You get trouble. Big trouble.  Christine has already developed a bad reputation for conjuring wild tales to explain ordinary occurrences. Who is likely to take her seriously when she discovers a bruised and neglected neighbor named Lila Payne? Try as she might, she cannot interest anyone in Lilas dire need for immediate rescue. Something about crying wolf once too often.  But when Lila and Christines beloved Border collie Molly both disappear the same night, Christine dives headfirst into a dark pool swirling with muddy secrets and misery. Her best friend throws her a lifesaver of prayer and she begins to sense God at work in the situation. But even with Gods help, can they save Lila and Molly before it is too late?

Catherine Leggitt is author of the cozy mystery series, Christine Sterling Mysteries. She is also an inspirational speaker presently residing in northern California. During her first career--after raising children and before caring for her aging parents--Catherine worked as an elementary school teacher, where she developed her flair for playacting and storytelling. Struggling with retirement, Catherine needed a distraction and found it at her keyboard.

Catherine is mother of three and grandmother of six. When she isn't writing or playing with the grandchildren, she sings in the church choir, attends Bible Study Fellowship, and prepares for her next move. After surviving nine moves in twenty five years, it's only a matter of time before her husband, Bob (who must be part gypsy) gets the urge to pack up and relocate one more time. Catherine limps along with these moves, grateful for the opportunities to keep from accumulating more stuff than Bob will want to move.

Payne & Misery, the first in the Christine Sterling Mystery series, won second place at the Orange County Christian Writer's Conference in 2010. In 2012, Ellechor Publishing House published the series. In Payne & Misery, Christine learns that pain is inevitable but misery is a choice while unofficially investigating the disappearance of her neglected and abused neighbor, Lila Payne. The second book, The Dunn Deal, finds Christine dealing with the nature of Truth as she investigates the murder of Deputy Baxter Dunn. In the third book, Parrish the Thought, Christine comes to terms with her own prejudiced heart while trying to rescue a teenager accused of murdering Nevada City matron, Bessie Parrish. Parrish the Thought placed in the quarter finals of the 2011 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest.

Never-Ending Night By Tanya Stowe GIVEAWAY!

On the eve of the Battle of Shiloh, Union soldier Tyler Sheridan has a premonition he is going to die. That night, he writes an epic anti-war poem called “Never-ending Night.” The next day, a cannonball explodes in front of him, but rather than walking through the gates of Heaven, Tyler steps into a modern-day Civil War reenactment. Confused by a world he can’t comprehend, Tyler has no choice but to rely on a beautiful and fascinating photojournalist for help.

As Stacy Sutton watches Tyler emerge from the rising smoke of faux cannon fire, she’s amazed by the authenticity of his uniform and demeanor—and then he claims to be from the nineteenth century, a mere delusion according to doctors. But Stacy’s not convinced Tyler is delusional and sees helping him as her second chance—an opportunity to atone for the death of her partner...and her past. As the mystery surrounding Tyler’s appearance deepens, it threatens any hope they have of a future together, and Stacy finds she must discover whether the man she loves is a traveller through time or a mad man lost in his own delusions.

Currently, they are living and working in the Middle East where they are beginning a new phase of their life with much adventure!

I love a book about unexpected love, forgiveness and faith. Tanya's latest has it all. I read this book in one afternoon. It was a fast read. The negative about the book was the book ended way to fast for me. I love Tonya's books, but they are just to short for me. She needs to write longer books, so that I can stay with the characters longer.
Aside from that you are going to LOVE this book. It is a very inspirational book and the Lord shines in this book.
I recommend this book and I hope that you will get a copy and enjoy it as well.

GROUNDED
...But Hope May Be Just Across the Street

Grace Meredith is a beloved contemporary Christian recording artist whose career--and personal life--hits unexpected turbulence. She feels grounded--in more ways than one.
Grace s fiancé, bothered by her outspoken stance on purity and her near-constant travel, has broken off their relationship. Exhausted and unable to continue her current concert schedule, Grace returns home to Chicago, where she is soon stranded in a major snowstorm. Facing new questions about her future and her faith, Grace finds herself connecting for the first time with the residents of her neighborhood. What she discovers in these unexpected relationships could change everything.

Welcome to the Neighborhood
The first in the Windy City Neighbors series, Grounded is an uplifting, contemporary story about ordinary people wrestling with the spiritual and practical issues of real life. As a kid I was crazy about horses and animals of all kinds and loved to draw (horses, mostly). Since I didn't have a horse, I wrote stories about them instead. My high-school English teacher sent one of my stories (about a couger) to a Scholastic magazine writing contest and it won First Place . . . and the rest, as they say, is history. I wanted to be a writer!
I grew up on the campus of a private Christian school in Seattle where my parents were teachers. A lovely childhood, though fairly sheltered. But college took me back to the Chicago area and a whole new world. My husband and I settled in the Chicago area soon after getting married, and even though we both grew up in solid Christian homes, our search to deepen our faith took the form of Christian community for much of our family life raising kids. Eventually the critical issue of racial reconciliation became the call of God upon our life, and we chose to immerse ourselves in African American and multi-cultural churches. Our world and our hearts expanded. What a gift these relationships of faith have been!
All during this time, my husband and I have been a writing team--writing books with expert resource people (as their co-authors) on a variety of topics (from medical ethics to stories of gang kids), then writing a whole series of historical fiction about great Christian heroes--40 titles in all!--called the Trailblazer books (and a series of "Hero Tales," five volumes in all). Now we are each writing adult fiction--the Yada Yada Prayer Group series for me, which was inspired by my real-life Bible study sisters, a multi-cultural group of feisty women going on 12 years now that God has used to turn my life upside down, or rather, rightside up! (I have to admit, sometimes my real world and my fictional world get a bit mixed up!)
I've been married for 40-plus years to the same wonderful man, we are truly partners in life. We raised two kids plus a Cambodian foster daughter, and together they've given us eight beautiful grandchildren! As one of my girlfriends and I agree: The best stress-busters in the world are pets, gardening, and grandkids!

I really enjoy Neta's writing and her books are always a pleasure to read.
This book was a little different from her other books, not sure why I did not get into it like I aways do with her books. The story line was good, I enjoyed the character Grace and all that she went though but it was  just slow in my opinion.

Between Heaven and Texas By Marie Bostwick GIVEAWAY!

In this luminous prequel to her beloved Cobbled Court Quilts series, New York Times bestselling author Marie Bostwick takes readers into the heart of a small Texas town and the soul of a woman who discovers her destiny there. . .
Welcome to Too Much--where the women are strong-willed and the men are handsome yet shiftless. Ever since Mary Dell Templeton and her twin sister Lydia Dale were children, their Aunt Velvet has warned them away from local boys. But it's well known that the females in Mary Dell's family have two traits in common--superior sewing skills and a fatal weakness for men.
While Lydia Dale grows up petite and pretty, Mary Dell just keeps growing. Tall, smart, and sassy, she is determined to one day turn her love of sewing into a business. Meanwhile, she'll settle for raising babies with her new husband, Donny. But that dream proves elusive too, until finally, Mary Dell gets the son she always wanted--a child as different as he is wonderful. And as Mary Dell is forced to reconsider what truly matters in her family and her marriage, she begins to piece together a life that, like the colorful quilts she creates, will prove vibrant, rich, and absolutely unforgettable. . .

I was born and raised in the Northwest. However, as an adult, I've had eighteen addresses in eight US states and two cities in Mexico. Now I live in rural Connecticut, in a town very similar to the fictional village of New Bern, the setting of the popular Cobbled Court Quilt novels. So far, I've written ten books, five in the Cobbled Court Quilt series. A quilter myself for twenty-five years, I enjoy dabbling in all quilting styles but work mostly in traditional and foundation piecing. When not home writing, I can often be found speaking at national quilt shows and quilt guilds around the country.

I have to say that I loved Marie's book Between Heaven and Texas, it is a fun uplifting read. It is the prequel to Cobbled Court Quilts series. Do you like to wrap up in a homemade quilt and read a great book? This is the book for you!
The characters are like family, and you can't get enough of them, Mary Dell was the best! You will be thinking about them long after you finish the last page.
The love and humor in this book it was just what I needed.
I highly recommend this fantastic book.
I give this book 5 stars.

If the Shoe fits By Sandra Bricker GIVEAWAY!

Julianne used to believe in fairy tales; she's been watching for Prince Charming to come charging in on his white steed ever since the day her mother read her Cinderella for the first time. But she's never come close to finding the perfect man-instead she's always tripping over her childhood best friend, Will. And who finds their Prince Charming on a 10-speed bicycle on the other side of the cul de sac? Well... Julianne does. Only she doesn't have a clue.
She and Will are attorneys now, and they've joined up in private practice in a beautiful Cincinnati office building that overlooks the Ohio River. And then one day Julianne is on her way to court, and runs right smack dab into Prince Charming. But when she looks again, all she finds is a metaphoric sign she is certain came straight from Heaven: The Prince's toolbox has fallen off the back of his truck, and a work boot along with it. What better way for God to grab the attention of a Cinderella-in-training than to show her a glass slipper...errrr, work boot?...waiting to be reunited with its owner?
So she sets out to track down the mysterious Prince Charming. He's the most gorgeous guy she's ever seen...and a caring animal rescuer, too. Surely he must be the soul mate God has prepared her for.
But, Julianne's prince is starting to look less and less charming all the time. No matter how she tries to romanticize him, he just keeps tumbling down off that dumb pedestal. And with the Bar Association dinner coming up that will honor her for her outstanding charity work over the year, Julianne wants so much for her friends and colleagues to see her with someone besides her best friend Will. To make matters worse, Prince Charming has no designs on wearing a penguin suit and attending a stuffy old dinner. With her pride pressing in on her like sticks from a cactus, Julianne sinks to the bottom of the proverbial barrel and actually offers to pay Paul to be her date.
Julianne is on a collision course with God's perfect plan for her life...if only she could open her eyes and see it before it's too late.

The Winnowing Season By Cindy Woodsmall Giveaway!

The tornado that devastated Kings’ Orchard pushed Rhoda, Samuel, and Jacob to make a new start in Maine. Are they strong enough to withstand the challenges of establishing an Amish community—and brave enough to face the secrets that move with them?

On the eve of their departure to begin a new Old Order Amish community outside of Unity, Maine, Rhoda Byler is shocked to discover that choices made by her business partner and friend, Samuel King, have placed her and her unusual gifts directly into the path of her district’s bishop and preachers. She is furious with Samuel and is fearful that the Kings will be influenced by the way her leaders see her, and not what they know to be true—that Rhoda’s intuition is a gift from God.

Jacob King won’t be swayed by community speculation. He loves Rhoda, believes in her, and wants to build a future with her in Maine. But when the ghosts of his past come calling and require him to fulfill a great debt, can he shake their hold before it destroys what he has with Rhoda?
