Life is complicated for Ruth Zook when her older sister, Emma, stakes her
claim on Jeremiah Fisher, the man Ruth secretly loves. Confused, Ruth decides to
leave Lancaster County to stay with her Aunt Esther, who left the Amish
community as a young woman and now teaches at the university in Philadelphia.
Ruth is introduced to a handsome young lawyer, who finds her enchanting and
wants to be part of her life. Will Ruth leave all that is familiar for an easier
life -- one filled with modern conveniences and luxury, or will she return to
her plain Amish life and settle for a marriage, perhaps one without love?

Emma, the eldest Zook sister, finds her emotions tossed between two
available suitors. John Troyer is a handsome single Amish man looking for a
wife. He is the same age as Emma and sought after by the other available girls.
Gabe Kuhns, is an attractive widower concerned for his two young children and
their need for a mother. Emma is not only their teacher in the one-room
schoolhouse, but finds herself involved in their personal lives as well. Is
there more drawing her to the family than just her concern for the children? Who
will win Emma’s heart?

June Belfie is addicted to writing. Rarely does a day go by without Ms.
Belfie spending time on her exciting new career. A music major in school, she
later turned to oil painting and sold many at her Inn in the Poconos, where she
and her husband Jim spent eleven exciting years creating a get-away haven for
weary New Yorkers and Philadelphians, as well as travelers from all walks of
life. Ms. Belfie recently published her memoir about inn-keeping called, "Inn
Sane" - available now. She also writes inspirational fiction and has just
completed the first of a three-book series based on the Amish, which is
available in paper or e-book. It’s titled, “Ruth’s Dilemma.” Raising five
children (all productive members of society - so far!) she's now enjoying the
fruits of her labor - in the form of eight grandkids! June and her husband, Jim,
divide their time between Pennsylvania and Titusville, Florida. “Winters are
dreary in the north. We thrive on the wonderful sunshiny days Florida has to
offer.
This is not an Amish author to miss. June really can write a great Amish story, and I must say it is not like most of the other Amish writers books with the same ole story line.
I really enjoyed The Zook Sisters of Lancaster County Series these two books were very hard to put down. High praise for a new Amish author I know but wait until you all read these two books, you will fall in love with Emma and Ruth for sure.
I am so ready for June's next Amish book!
I hate to give up my copies of these two books, but I want to share them with another Amish book lover.
I am giving away both books to two very lucky winners to enjoy. Just leave a comment and come back on Tuesday and see who the lucky winners were!
I was given copies of both books by the author for my honest review.
