The Chase By Kyle Kupecky

Kyle and Kelsey Kupecky couldn't have dreamed a better love story for themselves had it been scripted by a bestselling novelist like Kelsey's mom, Karen Kingsbury. In fact, if you asked them, Kyle and Kelsey would name God as the author of their story. And they're glad they trusted him to write it for them.

Unfortunately, too many girls hoping for their own happily-ever-after have taken matters into their own hands, chasing after boys when they should be chasing after God. And that inevitably leads to heartache, low self-esteem, and poor choices as girls give in to pressure from media and peers to look and act a certain way to attract guys.

I had the hardest time trying to read this book. I could not get into it. Kyle has written its all about God and I like that but the flow of the book is just not what I am use to in a non fiction book.
I am so sorry to say that this is not a book that I would want my young girls to read.
It is just a little bit  wishy washy for me, at this time in my girls lives I want them to read meaningful books and learn from godly people.
I have to say that I honsetly gave this book 3 stars.
I was given a copy of this book by the publisher for my honest review.

  4. Ok this is one I will not be buying for my daughter. I don't like for her to read anything wishy washy. I read everything that I get her before she does so I will know she is getting a book that will guide. I don't think my wife like Karen Kingsbury for some reason either.

  8. Thanks for your honest review, Mary. I will definitely pass on this one. To be quite frank, I have burned out on Karen Kingsbury and her family. I do believe it is all about money. (Just my opinion)

    Blessings!

  9. The point that it is wishy washy I don't think I will read it. Do the publishing companies actually read what they are putting out before they do it.

  11. To make a good non fiction book you must make a good point. Not back and forth. Thank for your review Mary.
