The Quest for Psyche By Beth Greenberg

The God of Love is a mess. Heartbroken and unmoored after losing Pan to his Right Love, Cupid knows the only cure is the next all-consuming love the gods will inflict on him. When Aphrodite refuses to hasten Cupid's next torment, he resorts to a very human approach to relieving his misery - therapy.

His online sessions seem to be working until Dr. Mariposa Rey mysteriously cuts him off. Sensing she needs his help, Cupid sets out on a cross-country adventure to Lake Tahoe, where his heart will be inflamed for one last Worthy. What Cupid doesn't know is that this fourth test will be his one and only chance at Right Love.

With the ancient tale of Cupid and Psyche as his guide, Cupid attempts the impossible - a happily eternally after with his reluctant soul mate.

My Thoughts...
This is the final book in the Cupid's Fall series. It was an enjoyable read. I loved the characters, and the story was a fun one.
I you have not read this series yet you can still read this as a standalone. It is worth the read.

It's Pan's turn for love, and everyone's in for a wild ride – especially his smitten best friend Cupid, who is duty-bound to find Pan’s perfect match.

For 2,000 years, Cupid believes his best friend dead, but when the gods banish Cupid from Mount Olympus, he discovers Pan alive and well in Tarra, Indiana. Joyfully reunited, the two revive the camaraderie of their youth, but tensions mount when Aphrodite sets Cupid’s heart signal on Pan.

Failure to fulfill his divine duty will doom Cupid to suffer yet another tragic love, but to succeed, he must risk losing everyone he holds dear.

Book 3 of the Cupid’s Fall series puts Cupid's epic friendship with Pan to the ultimate test – Love.

My Thoughts...                                                                                                                       I'm going to be very honest. I have read all three books in the Cupid's Fall series and I really enjoyed the first two and I recommend them all the time when someone is looking for a new author. But this one fell flat for me it was my least favorite of the three.                                                                                                                            I could not connect with the characters or their way of thinking. This was just one persons opinion. I would love to hear your thoughts after you read this series.             The Mary Reader received this book from the publisher for review. Into The Quiet By Beth Greenburg

Book 2 of the Cupid’s Fall series draws the tormented God of Love into the unbearable quiet of a neglected marriage, a fractured friendship, and a mother’s treacherous silence.

Cupid’s punishment is far from over, and the stakes are higher than ever. When Aphrodite inflames her son’s heart for Ruthie – a sweet, vulnerable, married Worthy – Cupid’s divine duty sets him on a crash course with the matrimonial laws of mortals. And his problems don’t end there.

Seeking relief from his crushing loneliness, Cupid unwittingly damages his relationship with Pan, his best friend and lifeline. Meanwhile, high above the mortal realm, Aphrodite bargains away her own son’s freedom in a brazen scheme to impress her fiery lover.

Caught in a web of secrets and suspicion, Cupid must ignore his own shattered heart and unite Ruthie with her Right Love before it’s too late for all of them.

My Thoughts...
I read The First Quiver which was the first book of the series The Cupid's Fall they can be read as stand alone but you are going to want to read them both.
The characters are so easy to love and connect with. Greenburg has really made these books fun reads.
I gave Into the Quiet 4 stars and I recommend it.

First Quiver By Beth Greenberg

Immortality isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially for the 3,375-year-old virgin of Mount Olympus.

Day after eternal day, Cupid launches his love-tipped arrows, then watches from the sidelines while everyone else has all the fun. His dull, sheltered existence takes an abrupt turn for the worse when he sends an arrow into the wrong rump.

Banished by the gods, Cupid plunges to Earth and lands in present-day Tarra, Indiana, where mortals go on about their daily routines, oblivious to the capricious gods stirring the pot from above. Discovering that his wings and pubescent pudge have been replaced with an impressive human form, Cupid swiftly leaves his virginity behind, but his carnal spree comes to a screeching halt when he falls passionately in love for the first time in his immortal life. Soon, Cupid understands the full measure of his punishment: he must find the true Right Love match for the mortal he desperately loves, and then he must let her go.

Caught between two worlds on a quest to fix Love, Cupid will have to master his own tortured heart and battle the powerful gods conspiring against him. Failure will not be tolerated; success will cost him everything.

My Thoughts...
A love story where the two main characters  don't get together... or do they?
This one had me laughing and it is fitting for this February  because cupid makes an appearance. This was a fun read and I can't wait to read book 2.
I gave this book 4 stars and You are in for a surprise.
