My Thoughts...

Well Benton has done it again. A storyteller like no other. The pages come alive and you can see it play out as you read it. Never a dull moment in this book. You will be sitting all afternoon flipping pages until you have read the whole book in one sitting.
I gave this book 4 stars and I recommend it.

My Thoughts....

Lori Benton has wrote a well rounded and dynamic novel. The book flows so well that you won't get to much historical information and get lost. She introduces the characters with such grace that you feel you know them. You can tell she did her research of history because she goes into such detail of historical events. The story has love, heartache, faith, hope and grace. I enjoyed reading it and I am sure you will also.

I gave this book 4 stars and recommend this book to Historical book lovers.

Lori Benton is good at what she does which is writing historical fiction novels. While reading you can feel the amount of research she did before writing the story. The character development carries from the first book. There are events in each character's lives that is life changing. This is a Christian story that has an untold theme of faith and forgiveness with a little bit of clean romance. The book is the second in a series, however, it can be read as a stand alone book. 

I give this book 4 stars. If you like historical reads give this one a try.

Very well written and such emotion on each page, I never wanted it to end.

I hate that I can only give it 5 stars. I do recommend this book.
