I love a sweet romance and Fisher gives it to you. Perfectly imperfect characters that we can all relate to. This is not your average some ole Amish fiction this is a sweet romance like no other.

 I dream of going to Cape Cod, after reading Fishers books it's like I have been there. The writing and the descriptions are so real. This series has been Fishers best. She does contemporary so well.

My Thoughts...

I use to read every Amish fiction book I could get my hands on. Well that changed a few years a go . I am very picky now. I only want to read unique, fresh new Amish fiction books now.

Fishers books are not redone stories they are fresh new stories.

What's not lot to love about a bookworm and bird lover. This was such a great read because I love both books and birds. I loved this from the first chapter to the last page.

I can't imagine not being able to read. I read every single day. This was something else to read about. Fisher has really out done herself with this one.

The Kentucky setting was spot on I know I lived there for a short time. There was a lot of uneducated people there. Many can not read they had to work for the families to survive.

I don't know how Fisher came up with the story but it is one that you won't soon forget.

I loved going back to Stoney Ridge. Fisher is a great Amish author, she can write with such emotions that you feel it on every page. This was a real page turner. If you have not read the first two books in The Deacon's Family you can still read this one as a stand alone. You will not be disappointed.

 This is the second book in The Deacon's Family series. I feel like you should read book one Mending Fences so you will know the characters and some of the back story. I sure that it can be read as a stand alone. But why do that when the stories blend together so well.
I don't know why but I love stories about  Foster families. This was so well written and such a story to remember.

I struggled reading this one. I think it was just that I had read an over load of Amish fiction One can only read so many at one time. The story was unique in it's own way. This is book three in An Amish Beginnings series.

I would read them all in order and not as stand alones although Fisher does have a  Cast of Characters in the beginning of the book so you won't be lost.

This is one of the best historical series that I have read and I am not big fan of historical reads.

It has been researched very well. It is not your cookie cutter Amish series at all. No same ole, same ole Amish book. It is well worth your time to read and enjoy it.

Book 2 in the Amish Beginnings series, The newcomer, continues Anna's story, A story of hope and conviction with a little bit of romance.

Fisher is writing a bit different then her normal Amish books. This one is historical not contemporary like her other Amish books.

I like the strong characters and the continuing story where book one Anna's Crossing left off.

 Book three in The Bishop's Family did not disappoint. It could be read as a stand alone but I would suggest enjoying the whole series.

Stay Amish or not to stay Amish that is the question? And I loved following Ruthie's story all the way from getting her GED to her love life.

This was a super adventure and I really enjoyed Patrick Kelly's story.

I gave this book 4 stars and I recommend this one. Don't miss this one.
