The Two Of Us By Victoria Bylin

Jake Tanner may have recovered from the physical injuries he sustained on the job as a police officer, but his heart has yet to heal from losing his former partner in the tragedy. He's poured himself into starting a camp for the sons of fallen officers and mentoring Sam, the adult son of his deceased partner, who's asked him to be his best man at his wedding.

Mia is expecting a mess when she arrives to sort out the situation with Lucy, but she wasn't expecting Jake. And Jake, who can't help envying Sam and Lucy, doubts he'll ever experience their happiness for himself. But maybe Jake's courage and Mia's caring spirit are just what they need to bring them a lifetime of healing and a forever kind of love. . . .

My Thoughts...

By far Bylin's best book and Yes I have read most of hers. This was one of the books I had ben waiting to read. It was so worth the wait.
The cast of characters were so familiar so real. This is a book that hits on some very hard but real life issues. I for one feel  the same about Alzheimer's that I do cancer.
This is a fantastic  contemporary read and one that I hope everyone reads. It is a feels books so get ready to laugh and cry and just be plain emotional  from the beginning to the end.    Great romance and you are going to love Mia and Jake.
I can't wait for Bylin's next book. I can't recommend this book enough. This one I will keep on my book shelf  and reread.
I gave this book 5 stars and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Someone Like You is a very heart warming story. The story moves along pretty good, I never found myself wanting a chapter to end so I could move on with the story. Bylin created a very diverse range of Christian characters with different levels of faith. As you read each character's struggles they come to life on the pages. However, my favorite character is a goat named Ladybug. Ladybug will make you laugh out loud, it was a wonderful addition. Someone Like You is a good romance for everyone.

I gave this book 4  stars and if you enjoy romances you are sure to enjoy this one.

Together with You By Victoria Bylin

Sometimes the most unexpected love can be exactly what a heart needs...
When a Lost Child warning blares over the mall's PA system, Carly Mason finds the little girl playing with a stuffed rabbit. Something about Penny Tremaine is different. An ex-social worker, Carly recognizes that the child suffers fetal alcohol effects, and a piece of Carly's past suddenly confronts her. Never again will she become personally involved with a client. The risks are far too great. But something about Penny--and Penny's handsome father--tugs at Carly's heart.
Dr. Ryan Tremaine is trying to put his life back together. With his ex-wife remarried and on a trip far away, his two teenage sons and Penny are living under his roof full time. Ryan has put his faith in his Sink-or-Swim list, a plan to reconnect with his children. The first step: recruit Carly Mason to be Penny's nanny.
Ryan never anticipated being so drawn to Carly, an attraction Carly seems to fight as much as he does. Could Carly be the missing piece that helps his family stay afloat, or will their blossoming romance only complicate things further?
