My Thoughts...

I'm going to be very honest here. I am very picky when it comes to Amish fiction. I don't like the same story over and over I like the plain stories no made up unbelievable  stories and I have been with the Amish so I know what is right and what is wrong. With that being said there are three novellas in this book and I only read Wanda's to the very end. And need I say I enjoyed it. But the other two I did not finish them.

So I am basing my review on Wanda's novella.

I gave Wanda's novella Wilma's Wish 4 stars and her novella is worth picking up this book.

My Thoughts...

 You always get an Amish story for the books with Brunstetter. She loves the Amish and spends much time with them so you get the idea of just how they live from her. The characters  and the description's of the area is always spot on.

Oh I don't want to forget to tell you about the fantastic recipe at the end of the story Sadie's Coconut Carrot Cake. You are going to want this book just for this recipe . I could eat the Coconut icing on everything.

I gave this book 4 stars and I am waiting for the next one to come.

My Thoughts...

I love a great love story, and I really love Hawaii so this book was right up my alley.
I read this in one sitting it was by far the best sequel I have read in a very long time.
I laughed, I cried and I was so full of joy.
This was written with so much love and how in the world two people write one book that makes sense and fits together so well I will never know.
You do NOT want to miss this 5 star book. It can be read as a stand alone but please read the first book  The Hawaiian Quilt you will be so glad that you did.

My Thoughts...

 

 

I am a huge fan of Wanda's so I knew her novella would be fantastic. I have read Wanda's daughter-in-laws writing in past books and really enjoyed her writing as well. But Wanda's granddaughter has a novella in this three part book so I did not know what to expect. I must say all three novellas were fantastic. I love how they are all woven together and the families are part of all three. Three generations of ladies and one quilt. The scripture on the quilt could not be more perfect.
I loved how they all came together so perfectly.
I must say this is a 5 stars two times book. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

My Thoughts...

I loved going back to Indiana and visiting some of my favorite Amish characters.

I loved the twins story. I would give most anything to run the general store and be friends with all of the Amish in Topeka. I was on the edge of my seat hoping and praying for Elma to find love. And start a life like her twin sister already had.

I was very disappointed that this light read was so short. I needed more.  Wanda's books are never long enough for me. In my opinion that's not a bad thing.

I did love how everything turned out and I hope you will pick up a copy of the sequel to The Lopsided Christmas Cake.
