Priscilla Slater goes to her ten-year high school reunion
with equal parts dread and eager anticipation. Even though she’s a successful
owner of a chain of hair salons and no longer has the mousy brown hair, crooked
teeth, and discount-store wardrobe, she still feels like the ugly duckling. But
when she arrives at the reunion, Priscilla soon realizes that her old classmates
aren’t exactly as she remembers them. With humor and a just a touch of
sassiness, Priscilla finds herself facing her own truth—and she may be surprised
at what she discovers.

Author and speaker Debby Mayne grew up in a military family, which
meant moving every few years throughout her childhood. Debby was born in Alaska,
and she has lived in Mississippi, Tennessee, Oregon, Florida, Hawaii, and Japan.
Her comfort foods are as diverse as her interests. You might find her eating
sushi while reading a cozy mystery novel or fried catfish while watching a Tampa
Bay Buccaneers football game.
Her husband of almost 30 years has accepted the fact that outside of her faith and family, books are the most important thing in her life. She and Wally have two grown daughters, Lauren and Alison, a son-in-law, Jason, and a granddaughter. Debby has published more than 20 books and novellas, approximately 400 short stories and articles, and a slew of devotions for busy women. She has also worked as managing editor of a national health magazine, product information writer for a TV retailer, a creative writing instructor, and a copy editor and proofreader for several book publishers. Debby currently enjoys writing Christian fiction, which allows her the freedom to tell stories without restraining her convictions. She lives on Florida's west coast with her husband and two cats. Hi, everyone! First of all, Mary, thank you so much for saying such nice things. There were times while writing this book that I forgot where I was because the characters became a part of my life. I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I did writing it.

Yes, Re-unions are very interesting. I know some who won't go because of weight gain etc. They should realize most won't be the same as 10 years ago. I would like a chance to win this book.
