My Thoughts...

Being from Kentucky this was a great book.  I loved the vivid descriptions and the way Gabhart took me back to the mountains. 

The characters were so easy to love, well most of them were. I enjoyed going home in this heartwarming read.

You are going to get lost in the mountains with Fran and like me you just might enjoy it.

  Well crafted read and you are going to be left wanting more. I loved the ending. I just might be Gabharts biggest fan.

This is a 5 star two times read! I HIGHLY recommend this book.

My Thoughts...

This is book three in An Amish Beginnings series.

I would read them all in order and not as stand alones although Fisher does have a  Cast of Characters in the beginning of the book so you won't be lost.

This is one of the best historical series that I have read and I am not big fan of historical reads.

It has been researched very well. It is not your cookie cutter Amish series at all. No same ole, same ole Amish book. It is well worth your time to read and enjoy it.

I gave this book 4 stars. I recommend the whole series be read in order.
