My Thoughts...

I read most of Brunstetters books and the two that goes with this one were read some time ago. This reads as a standalone. It's your typical Amish fiction read with Brunstetters voice on each page.

I'm glad I read it; I love the cover model on the gorgeous cover.

This was way different than most of Brunstetter's books. I was not very pleased with the ending. It played out much more different than how I thought it would. I hope the next one is better.

My Thoughts....

This book really doesn't read as a standalone, be sure to read the first tow books before this one. What a mess Rosa and Anthony are in. 

This book had a little bit too much repetition it made it drag on. Edit it out and the story would have been better.

This is book two in the Mifflin County Mystery series. It takes off right where the Protector left us. So, I recommend reading them both. This is a good mystery series and one with lots of love and hope shining through.

My Thoughts....                                                                                                     I have all three of these devotionals and they are great. My thoughts...

All while reading The Protector, I was wondering who wrote it. Not Brunstetter the writing is much different than her hundreds of other books. It was so over detailed at times. And the character development was way off.
Maybe Shes retiring and giving her name to another author, just my thoughts.

My Thoughts...

When you buy this book make sure if you read only one of the novellas that it is The Beach Ball by Jean Brunstetter. It was by far the best one of the four. Great characters and storyline.

My Thoughts...                                                                                                  This is such a nice devotional. It would be a great parring with your Bible reading each day.  The Scripture index in the back of the book is so helpful you can just go straight to the scripture in your Bible. My Thoughts..

I love this series the Prayer Jars.  I was not really sure about Sara and Brad. I was not sure about Michelle either. It took some reading and thinking but in the end I liked all three of them.
I even cried at one point in the book. So you know it was a good one. I can't wait for the next book in this series. The Healing Jar will be just a good as the first two I bet.
I gave this book 4 stars. I recommend reading the series but  The Forgiving Jar can be read as a stand alone.
