The House at Saltwater Point By Colleen Coble
The dangerous beauty of Lavender Tides is harboring secrets that reach around the world.
Ellie Blackmore is making a name for herself as a house flipper. But when her sister Mackenzie disappears, Ellie can’t focus on anything but uncovering what happened. Her only clue is the bloodstain on the deck of Mackenzie’s boat. Ellie knows her sister isn’t on the best of terms with her ex-husband, Jason, but he wouldn’t kill her—would he?
Coast Guard intelligence officer Grayson Bradshaw believes Mackenzie faked her own death after stealing a seized cocaine shipment. The problem is convincing Ellie, who seems to view him as the true enemy.
Both Ellie and Grayson want truth, but truth—and family—is often more complex than it first appears. From international terrorism to the peaceful lavender fields of Puget Sound, The House at Saltwater Point is a thrilling race to uncover the truth before it’s too late

I loved every gripping, action filled page.
I can not wait to read Brenna's story and find out how that all ends.

To take her mind off her troubles, her roommate invites her to spring retreat at Camp Hope in the gorgeous North Carolina mountains. Unbeknown to Loni, Michael Ackerman, the director, is an ex-con responsible for the accident that caused her blindness. When Loni warms up to camp and wants to return as a summer counselor, Michael opposes the idea, which only makes Loni want to prove herself all the more. Though she doesn’t expect to fall for the guy. Still, her need for independence and dream of teaching win out, taking her far away from her beloved Camp Hope . . . and a certain director. Camp director Michael Ackerman recognizes Lonie instantly and wants to avoid her at all costs. Yet, despite the guilt pushing him from her, a growing attraction draws him to the determined woman. She sees more with her heart than the average person does with his eyes. But her presence also dredges up a long-buried anger toward his alcoholic father that he’d just as soon keep hidden. My Thoughts...
To see Bart Millard's story unfold before my eyes was amazing. I read the book and it was very very good and the movie gave an image to the words I read. The cast did a great job portraying their characters. I am also a Dennis Quade fan and loved that he played Bart's father. Overall the movie was very well good. I am not ashamed to say that I had tears several times in the film. This story is a very compelling. You can see God's hands in Bart's family and in his life through every choice he made. I recommend this movie to everyone. I think the film will encourage believers as well as touch those who do not have a relationship with Christ.
I give this DVD 5 stars. This post is written by AJ. I did get Mary to watch it she agreed it was a good movie.
