We want to share with you some of our favorite songs we listen to throughout the week. These are songs that we listen to when we are happy, sad, traveling, cleaning the house or on the way to work. In our house music is just as important to us as reading. Music can touch the depths of your spirit and move you in a way that other things can not.

When I am having a really rough day and I'm down, I listen to Mandisa’s Out of the Dark album. It is a good album that will lift you up. I always feel so much better after listening to it!

I love a lot on your list Mary. One of my favorites is Take Me to the King. I love, love, love this song. Another one is one that our church choir sings is He's a Chain Breaker. I will have to check out some of the ones on your list that I haven't listened to. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI normally gravitate toward old time hymns so in my place list are artist like Alan Jackson singing hymns. Reba Mcentire has a new album that I bought and put on my play list. That made a good addition to my old timey hymns.

ReplyDeleteMy playlist is rather diverse, I love most all types of music. I have hundreds of songs on my playlist. Whatever mood I'm in, I have songs for that mood. This was a nice post. Now I'm off to play some music and clean house. Happy Sunday Mary.

ReplyDeleteGreat list! I see several artists and songs that I love. I enjoy almost anything except for rap and country and it has to be clean. I listen mostly to Christian rock though. Almost everything by Francesca Battistelli because her music is so relatable. Anything by Jeremy Camp (he was one of my crushed growing up lol). Red, Skillet, Decemberadio, Pillar are just a few favorites.

ReplyDeleteI have such eclectic music tastes that it's hard to pin down just a couple. Reba McEntire is my all time favorite artist. I can go from instrumental hymns to 80's Hair Bands and so much in between just on my mood.
