I LOVED A Willow Ridge Christmas Pageant By Charlotte Hubbard, Wait until you all meet Seth and Mary, you are going to love there story. Very well rounded characters and the story was not on to be missed.

I lOVED A Perfect Amish Christmas by Jennifer Beckstrand as well . Wonderful Christmas romance not to be missed.

I enjoyed A Christmas on Ice Mountain By Kelly Long also. Matthew and Laurels story is not to be missed.

I love a good Christmas romance and you are sure to fall in love with the characters (I love the grandparents) in this Christmas romance and still be thinking about them long after you have read the last page.

Kate's Song was my favorite book by Jennifer, Wait here it comes until I read Miriam's Quilt.

Ladies you are about to meet the perfect God fearing man that we all want to fall in love with, in this book.

I would love to really meet a man like Seth in real life. Seth is a character that you will never forget he is so forgiving and caring.

I never put this book down once I opened it up and started reading it.

Let me tell you if you have NOT read the Forever in Apple Lake series you need to go pick up all three books, and turn off your phone and get off Facebook and enjoy these books this weekend.

I give Miriam's Quilt 5 stars two times.

Who is Jennifer Beckstand?

I grew up with a steady diet of William Shakespeare and Jane Austen. After all that literary immersion, I naturally decided to get a degree in mathematics, which came in handy when one of my six children needed help with homework. After my fourth daughter was born, I started writing. By juggling diaper changes, soccer games, music lessons, laundry, and two more children, I finished my first manuscript--a Western--in just under fourteen years. (Because all my children have finally entered the public school system, and I can now write a book in significantly less time.) I sent my manuscript to an agent, who asked me to try my hand at writing Amish fiction. After much research and travel, I fell in love with the people and the genre. My goal is to write uplifting, inspiring stories with happy endings and hopeful messages. If my books make readers want to give themselves a big hug or jump up and down for joy, I've done my job. Oh My Oh My what can I say about Rebecca's Rose, it was better then Kate's Song and I loved that book. Author Jennifer Beckstand is now on the top of my favorite Amish authors list. She can write like no other. I was so wrapped up in this book I had no idea what was going on in the world around me. I laughed, I cried, and I was one very happy women that it all ended so well. I LOVE Rebecca and Levi, this is a book I will reread many times. 5 stars is not enough I give it 10 stars. I must warn you, you will NOT put it down until the last page. I need Jennifer to hurry up and write the next book 2013 is way to long to wait!

About the Author

Jennifer Beckstrand has a degree in mathematics and a background in editing. After six children, Jennifer decided to pursue a career in writing. One of her manuscripts, Rachel’s Angel, won first place in two writing contests. Jennifer is a member of the RWA and coordinates the Utah RWA Great Beginnings Contest. She lives in Utah.

My Review

This is Jennifer Beckstrand's first book, and I was not sure what to expect  a lot of the new Amish authors;  just write the same stuff that has already been written, but not Jennifer. This was a very well written book and a new story worth reading. I enjoyed it. I got very upset at one point in the book but it all turned out okay. I loved the ending. This was a very easy read. I cannot wait to read book two!
