  1. Mary, this will be the first year without my Mom. I get teary eyed just thinking about it. How will we celebrate Christmas without her? I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Please remember me, my sister, and brother in your prayers.
Thank you for this review. I love Christmas stories and The Christmas Creed sounds like a great read. I also love to read about Christmas miracles!
Thanks again Mary for your book reviews.

  2. I miss my Mother "Mary Arnold Wilkerson " who went to Heaven March 11th,2000 at the young age of 60 . The 1st year with out her was the hardest she always made yeast rolls for Thanksgiving and Christmas .While my family tried to do it for our 1st Christmas with out her they turned out not so hot ,but we cried because it brought back all the Christmas she made them .My Mom if she could look down from Heaven she would have laugh at our try but would have been proud that we did try. She was there in our hearts Thank you for the contest I would love to WIN .Blessings

  3. Beautiful review once again, Mary! This book sounds like a "true" Christmas story in every sense of the word. My mother passed away 26 years ago at the young age of 65, and not a day or holiday goes by that I don't miss her terribly. My youngest daughter never knew her, and my mother never knew her great grandchildren. What a tremendous loss it has been for all of us. We live in the house where my mother grew up, and we spent every Christmas here with our family. The memories from past Christmases are still with me each year. They're beautiful memories, never to be forgotten.

  4. I miss my Mother, Dad & brother so much. Even though they have been gone many I still find myself talking about them like they are still here. They are always in my heart and in my thoughts. We always had Christmas at Mom & Dad's house. But now we try to get together with other family when it's possible. It just not the same and I truly miss it.This book sounds like a wonderful Christmas story to keep &read every year and then pass on to someone in the family to have after It's our turn to leave our earthly home.

  11. What a wonderful book to read as our seasons are changing. My dad and best friend passed away of a stroke 42 yrs. ago this coming Nov. after just turning 44 yrs. old. It's been a long journey without him, though I have kept my memory & photos of him so my children & husband will know what a wonderful man he was. Than you so much for sharing this interview & novel.

  13. I miss my dear husband, tho he's been gone for 15 years this Christmas. He was such a sweetheart and loved Christmas. After helping with putting the tree up and putting up the lights, then he would lie on our couch and watch me put the ornaments on and decorating the room. I still have to have a tree tho so many of my friends don't, but can just see him when I'm decorating my tree. Such precious memories! Would love to win this Christmas book! Maxie ( mac262@me.com )

  14. Tough question ... I miss my Son's Dad, my Mom, Dad, paternal Grandparents and maternal Grandparents at various times. It depends on what is happening and what brings each to mind. I loved them all so very much! The Christmas season is particularly hard because we lost my Son's Dad in December ~ and even though that has been 28 years ago this year, I still miss him a lot. This book sounds like a real keeper. Looking forward to reading it! Would love to win. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the contest. ~ mdegram218@centurylink.net

My grandparents were a big part of my lives and I miss them so much on Christmas.
I know they are in a better place taking care of my baby girl that I never got to know.
    Thank you for the opportunity.

  16. Christmas isn't the same any more since my Dad went to be with the Lord. It is a very hard time for me. Dad made the best holiday fudge. He loved to prank us by telling the kids they was naughty and was getting coal for Christmas. and he did at Christmas he would put coal and sticks under the tree as a joke.
Those times are gone now and very much missed. I love to spend my time reading. I would really like to win this book like everyone else. Godd luck everyone.

  17. I miss my grandma the most. The whole family would go to my grandma's little house. Some times there was standing room only or sit in the floor. We all had to eat in shifts. What a joy to be able to see all of our family.
I would love to win and read this book. It sounds like a keeper.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  23. Wow, hands down the person I miss most at Christmas is my son. My youngest son died nearly four years ago, he was only 14 and this year would be his 18th birthday. I wonder daily what he would look like now, and all that...so yes hands down I miss him most.
Another thing I miss is the family atmosphere, gathering at Grandparents, with aunts and uncles and cousins, and having a huge get together. We had wonderful family Christmases.

  24. I really like The Christmas Creed. It's always easy to get lost in wrapping paper and lists forgetting the "heart" moments are the most important.

  25. I miss my Daughter, she passed a little after midnight on Christmas Morning...I like to think that Jesus brought her home on his birthday. This year will be an especially hard one as my husband passed away in June.

  30. Thankfully I haven't lost a close loved one with whom I shared Christmas with. Christmas isn't the same as it used to be though. I miss not having my children with me on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. I've spent the last several alone until my daughter and grandchildren come early afternoon. I guess the saddest thing is I miss things I never had; the shared joy of putting gifts under the tree Christmas Eve and watching the faces of your children & grandchildren the next morning with a loving spouse. Even while married, it's something I did alone. So, I miss what I never had.
