MICHAEL SYMON is a cohost of ABC’s The Chew and, on Food Network, an Iron Chef on Iron Chef America and a host of All-Star Academy. He is the chef and co-owner of Lola and Lolita in Cleveland, Roast in Detroit, and numerous locations of B Spot Burgers and Bar Symon. He is the author of Michael Symon’s Live to Cook, Michael Symon’s Carnivore, and Michael Symon’s 5 in 5.

Ok readers 5 in 5 is a book that will bring out your inner Chef. I just love Michael and watch the show The Chew that he co-hosts religiously. I don't know him personally but at times I wish I did. The book has 165 recipes that has 5 ingredients + 5 minutes of heat. The recipes are very well written and easy to follow. Other than the fresh ingredients like meat and vegetables are things that you would already have in your pantry or spice rack. The picture illustration for each recipe will make your mouth water just as quick as the smell of you cooking each dish. The book is broken down in 5 categories Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter And Holidays. Before each category has an illustration written by Michael about that Category. I cooked a couple of recipes at my house and just loved the dishes. For example Grilled pork Medallions with plum sauce. I would recommend this book to cook no matter the experience they have. I give this book 5 stars and would give it a hundred if I could.
I was given a copy of this cook book by the publisher for my honest review.
