Texas Summer Nights series by Kristi Copeland

After a dramatic break-up, Landscape Architect, Lanie Green is determined to make a fresh start. When a residential developer in Texas offers her a position, she jumps at the chance to further her career and follow her heart.

Third-generation cattle farmer, Max Walker, daydreams of becoming a Nashville star, but his father has other ideas for his future. Working long days on the family farm is quickly becoming monotonous and he longs to find his purpose.

Sparks fly when the northerner and the cowboy cross paths on a lonely dirt road, somewhere outside of Sunset. Lanie captivates Max on that early summer day and he inspires her to look forward to the Texas summer nights.

Lanie’s new position is far from what she imagined but she refuses to fail. Besides, telling Max the truth about her job’s expectations might damage their budding relationship. Determined to follow his life-long dream and keep Lanie by his side, Max makes her an offer she can’t refuse.

Veterinarian Julia Baker left her troubled past in Michigan to start a new life in small-town Texas. The desire to break the cycle of family turmoil is evident in every choice she makes. Her love for animals keeps her occupied and out of the dating scene.

Startled by a knock on her door at 4:00 a.m., she is caught off guard by a handsome stranger who needs her help. She immediately shifts into doctor mode to save a Great Pyrenees; the emergency at hand is the only reason she can concentrate.

Butcher Brad Daniels is known for his award-winning deli and meat market. Now that he has made a name for himself in Paradise, Texas, he would like to find that adventurous someone who shares his love of the outdoors.

The tense initial meeting leaves both Julia and Brad stunned; while Julia denies the attraction, Brad embraces the unintentional draw. After their second chance meeting, at the wedding of Max and Laney Walker, Brad finds any excuse to be near Julia.

Even though Julia does everything she can to suppress the attraction and her growing feelings for Brad, she continues to fall. Her friends attempt to convince her that real love does exist. If she can’t let go of her past, she could miss out on her own happily ever after.

Failed relationships left Brad questioning exactly what he wants in a partner. He is determined to win Julia's heart and convince her that love will carry them through any situation. After all, she checks every box on his list of perfection. He has finally found the woman of his dreams and refuses to let her go.

Audacious Pam Waite moves from Dallas to the small town of Loving, Texas for a change of pace. Some would describe her as too adventurous, like that was somehow a bad thing. She simply loves life and wants to check off as many bucket-list items as she can.

Groomed to be a rancher, Jason Payne is content with his daily routine, although he secretly strives to break out of his self-depicted boring streak. Dependable and safe, he focuses on caring for his animals, family, and friends—in that order.

Intrigued by living in the country, Pam buys the house next door and Jason is astonished by their undeniable connection. It doesn’t take long for her to convince him that excitement can be found in your own back yard.

As their growing attraction becomes more and more addictive, their differences become more and more seemingly unsurmountable; Pam’s risky ways threaten to disrupt Jason's carefully planned life. He denies his true feelings to save his heart; after all, the wild child probably won’t stay in one place very long anyway.

But after withdrawing, he's left wondering if he may have made the worst mistake of his life.

All my life, writing, sharing experiences through story-telling, and intensive research has interested me. Finally, with my first novel, all of these loves have been combined to give my readers an experience through the written word.

Like so many of my favorite books have done for me, I sincerely hope to connect with you through my writing. A simple communication style brings words off the page to a vision in your mind.

Everywhere I look, I see someone begging me to write about them. Even my husband’s dreams inspire ideas about new books! Join me as I create scenarios that could happen to anyone…and probably have. Maybe me, maybe you.
