Usually I am more of a chick lit girl, but this mystery by Ellis had me from the very beginning. This is the fourth book in the Secrets Of The South Mysteries I loved this story from beginning to the end. The characters have ones that you will love and some you will love to dislike. Beth and Michael are a very good  characters . The author had me guessing who actually committed the crime until the very end. This book has it all mystery, romance and a little action. This was a good clean fun read.  I have to say I loved the setting for this book.

I gave this book 5 stars. This can read as a stand alone BUT why would you want to the whole series all four books are fantastic.

Book number three in the Secrets of the South Mysteries was just as good as the first two. It can be read as a stand alone you won't be lost, but I would suggest reading all there. There are great. If you are a fan of mysteries with lots of twists and turns then you are going to love Magnolia Midnight.

Fantastic characters and outstanding story.

I gave this book 4.5 stars and I HIGHLY recommend this book as well as the series.

Book two  in the Secrets of the South Mysteries, but this book can be read as a standalone. Get ready to solve the crime.

What Happened On Beale Street  Is a very good Mystery. This is the second book in Secrets Of The South series. Ellis has done it again with this one. This is a book that can not be put down when you start reading it. The characters Nicki and Nate are really easy characters to love and I am sure you will love them too. The book will keep you guessing throughout it's pages. Every time I thought I had everything in this mystery figured out I was wrong. Ellis wrote a  good mystery with a little romance mixed in.

I gave this book 4.5 stars.  I recommend this book!

I was ready for a great suspense book and boy did I get it with Mary's latest. She not only can write Amish fiction but she is an out of this world suspense writer.

Such a twist and a little bit of romance to boot. Not one mystery is solved in this book but two mysteries get solved!

I never put this book down until the very last page I had to know who killed James, and Nicki's daddy. You never saw this coming.

You are going to LOVE this new series if you are a fan of mysteries.

I love the characters the twin sisters and their men, you will not soon forget them they are twins but so different. I have to say it takes talent to write from one genre to another, Mary Ellis has mucho talent!

I hate to say this, I know what you all are thinking right now she is not going to say she did not Like Mary's latest book. NO I am not I LOVED it. I could not put this book down but I have to say this is not a book that you can read over a week or at a Doctors office where you never know when they are going to call you back. You have to read this book in one sitting because it is fantastic. The characters are like your family, they are so loveable.

I gave this book 5 stars two times. Mary can not write anything but 5 star books. She has a gift from above. Her words and her passion for the Amish just draw you right in from the very first page to the last page.

As you all already know I am a huge fan of Mary's she is one of the best Amish fiction authors, so I could not wait to read the first book in her Civil War series.

I was not disappointed at all, it was everything I knew it would be and more.

I could not put the book down once I picked it up. This is a romance that you do not want to miss.

The characters are strong wonderful characters that you will fall in love with.

I don't even know where to start with this review, you all already know Mary is on top of my favorite author list but what you don't know is Ruth Reid is just as a great as Mary, the stories in this book were way to short for me( I do not like when talented authors write novellas). But the great thing about this book is the characters carry over in to the next authors novella. All three stories were great. I fell in love with Hope in "Always in my Heart" and then Rosa and Adam in "Always His Provision" And you can't help but love Becky in Always Beautiful.

This best part of this book is that  in all three stories the characters intertwined.

I loved this book and I will of course keep a copy on my own book shelf forever. So that I can reread it over again each year.

I gave this book 5 stars and I gave all three novellas 5 stars.

I am Mary's number on fan.

I fell in love with this book right from the start. The very first page has the words to the song Amazing grace ( Which I LOVE).

And the very first chapter has Rachel leaving Missouri heading to Kentucky ( Which I am a huge UK fan). So I knew this book was going to be a favorite of mine.

Boy was I right, I feel in love with Jake and was sad at one point in the book I will not give anything away. I soon became happy because the ending I did not see coming and I loved it. I always love when an Amish story turns out much different then most books do.

You do not want to miss this book. I HIGHLY recommend this great work of fiction.

Mary Ellis grew up close to the eastern Ohio Amish community, Geauga County, where her parents often took her to farmer's markets and woodworking fairs. She loved their peaceful, agrarian lifestyle, their respect for the land, and their strong sense of Christian community.

She and her husband now live close to the largest population of Amish in the country--a four-county area in central Ohio. They often take weekend trips to purchase produce, meet Amish families, and enjoy a simpler way of life.

Mary enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, bicycling and swimming. But her favorite pasttime is snorkeling, which she seldom gets to do living in Ohio. Boy, Can Mary write an amazing Amish story. I can not get enough of her story telling. But then again I have always been a sucker for a great romance. Book one in her new series The New Beginnings is fantastic and another hard to put down read. I firmly believe God will put people in your life for a reason and in this must read book Nora must choose the right  person to share her life with. I love happy endings. You must read this book to find out if in fact Nora makes the right choice. I give this book 5 stars and I highly recommend it! I was given a copy of this book by the publisher

My Review

Mary has done it again wrote another  5 Star Amish book that I could not put down. I felt like I was right there with the characters Living in Harmony. A tragedy....A refusal...A Shunning... What more could you want in an Amish book? You get it all in Mary's new book. I am so happy that I read this book. I LOVED IT!!!
