A Family for Easter By Lee Tobin

Too different to fall in love? In Rescue River, anything can happen…When wealthy single mom Fiona Farmingham rents her carriage house to widowed Eduardo Delgado, it’s purely in friendship. Insecure over her late husband’s betrayal, Fiona hides her attraction to the humble landscaper. Between them they have six children, two dogs—and a world of differences. But with half a dozen little matchmakers involved, can they find the courage to reach for happiness once more.

Lee Tobin McClain read Gone With The Wind in the third grade and has been an incurable romantic ever since. When she not writing emotional Christian romances, she's probably driving around a carload of snarky teen girls, playing with her rescue dog and cat, or teaching aspiring writers in Seton Hill University's MFA program. She is probably not cleaning her house.

My Thoughts...

This blogger/reviewer still says that really talented authors should NOT write these what I call novellas. This was the first book that I have read by this author, but it will not be my last.
I did not like Fiona's mom could not get past her black ugly heart but the rest of the characters were loveable and made this book a good one. I read it in one sitting.
The Mary Reader received this book from the publisher for review. A favorable review was not required and all views expressed are our own.

  8. Such a cute cover! Love Inspired are my go-to books because they pack a punch in so few pages; about 220 for contemporary/suspense and a little longer at around 280 for historical. I've only "met" Lee on Facebook, but she's warm and friendly :-) She's written many LI's so I would definitely check them out Mary!
