Wanda Brunstetter is an award-winning romance novelist who has led millions
of readers to lose their heart in the Amish life. She is the author of almost 50
books with more than 5 million copies sold. Many of her books have landed on the
top bestseller lists, including the New York Times, Publisher's Weekly, CBA,
ECPA, and CBD. Wanda is considered one of the founders of the Amish fiction
genre, and her work has been covered by national publications, including Time
Magazine and USA Today.
Wanda's fascination with the Amish culture developed when she met her
husband, Richard, who grew up in a Mennonite church, and whose family has a
Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. Meeting her new Mennonite sister-in-laws caused
Wanda to yearn for the simpler life. In their travels, she and her husband have
become close friends with many Amish people across America. Wanda's desire to
explore their culture increased when she discovered that her great-great
grandparents were part of the Anabaptist faith.
All of Wanda's novels are based on personal research intended to accurately
portray the Amish way of life. Many of her books are well-read and trusted by
the Amish, who credit her for giving readers a deeper understanding of the
people and their customs.
Wanda's primary attraction to the Amish is their desire to live a devout
Christian life that strives to honor God, work hard, and maintain close family
ties. Whenever she visits her Amish friends, Wanda finds herself drawn to their
peaceful lifestyle, sincerity, and close family ties, which is in stark contrast
to the chaos and busyness that plagues so many modern "Englishers." Time and
time again, Wanda loses her heart in the Amish life, and she hopes her readers
will, too. For more information, visit: www.WandaBrunstetter.com
They say time heals all wounds, I not so sure about that.  Are
you?
Wanda has done it again wrote another fantastic book and left me
hanging.
The verdict is still out on these small eight chapter books  Wanda
is writing, I have a very hard time with patience so having to wait for the rest
of the story is very hard for me.
Once you open this fast read you are sucked in and then before you
know it, you are on the last page.
We will have to wait now for book three in he Lancaster County Saga
to see if time does heal all wounds.
Before you know it The Hope of Spring book three will be
here.
Of course this is a 5 star must read book.
I was given a copy by the publisher.

DeleteI would love to win this one. I too read the first one a few months ago and can't wait. Like you, I'm not sure what I think about these serialized books. Honestly, I'm not sure I like it. I've read an Amish series and the author escapes me at the moment. It was a 3 book series. A murder occured in the first book and you found out who the murderer was in the 3rd. I didn't mind that since there was a full book in each of the books. Don't get me wrong I won't quit reading Wanda Brunstetter, I just might have to wait like Nancee till I get the whole installment. LOL. Thank you for sharing today. Blessings, Susan Fryman

ReplyDeleteWanda B. is a long-time favorite of mine. She has never disappointed me in any of her books. I'm having a hard time with the installment books also, because I want to sit down with a complete novel and read it from beginning to end. I will be purchasing this new series, but not until the entire series is available. Do you happen to know is this will be offered in a complete one-book version eventually? That would be my preference. Thanks, Mary!
ReplyDeleteI love Wanda's books, so would be pleased to win this book. I too, prefer the whole book. Or of course the larger series. I have loved her writing. Maxie mac262(at)me(dot0com
